Prayers for the Leaders....

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone. For kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2

We should pray for what they need: Wisdom, freedom from deceit, a genuine interest in doing what is best for those who are under their authority. But most importantly , the ability to govern in a way that would enable us to live "a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way".
